Exploring The Data

I was able to obtain a wonderful dataset provided on Kaggle by another WoW fan. Before I jumped into any type of predictive modeling, I took some time to perform an exploratory data analysis where I check for things like missing values or anything that could corrupt the results of analysis. In this section of the project I also used some visualization tools to reveal some clear correlations in the data.

Machine Learning

After the data was prepped for analysis, I utilized various predictive modeling techniques to gather insights. I was able to utilize logistic regression, discriminant analysis, tree ensembles, and a simple neural network to produce viable conclusions.

Data-Driven Decision Making

I am a huge fan of the popular MMORPG World of Warcraft and the goal of this project was to analyze battleground statistics to determine the factors that contributed most to victories in battle!
