Baby on Board
Development Phases
Over the course of the semester, our team got to experience the different stages of the development cycle for a game project. Our final game was a result of going through planning, alpha, playtesting, and polishing phases.
Group Development
Working on a game with a team can be challenging. From a design perspective, each team member's ideas were considered and discussed with only a fraction of the ideas making it into the final game. From a technical perspective, each member would work on different parts of the game and then submit changes via source control (Git Repo) which was then followed up with code review and project integration.
Game Feel
Baby on Board was a project that I worked on with a group of students for Georgia Tech's Video Game Design course. The objective of this course was to focus on developing a small game that adheres to the principles of "game feel" which includes controls, feedback, aesthetics, mechanics, physics, and animation.
